Dreamlopments celebrated M-FUND's 5th anniversary on Sunday, August 28, in Mae Sot.
The event was held at Islam Suksa School in Mae Sot, Tak province, with over 400 people – migrants, local government officials, representatives of partner healthcare facilities, and members of community-based organisations – in attendance. We were honoured to also welcome Mr Suwit Kamaneewong, Deputy Mayor of Mae Sot, who presided over the event.
M-FUND had its pilot implementation started in Mae Sot in August 2017. For the past 5 years, the project has expanded to different parts of Tak and other provinces, benefiting over 45,000 migrants, stateless persons and impoverished border residents to date. The 5th anniversary event not only celebrated this achievement right where it began, but also recognised all the operational partners who have played different roles in the successful implementation of M-FUND.
We thank everyone who participated in the event and made it a success.
