On 17-18 December 2024, Dr. Nicolas Durier, General Director of Dreamlopments Foundation, Dr. Nyan Linn, Head of Programs, and the M-FUND team participated in the "Migrant Health Forum on International Migrants Day, 2024: Migrant Health: Unity in Diversity” at Tak Border Health Learning Center, Mae Sot district, Tak Province.
Organized by the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI) and Mae Sot Hospital, the event aims to raise awareness of the role and importance of migrant populations to Thai society, to be a forum for discussion on issues of population movement in terms of policies, capacity building for health personnel, health service provision, information sharing, networking, and international cooperation, and to promote the exchange of best practices and support cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Dr. Nian Linn participated in the discussion and presented the work of the M-FUND Project in the panel discussion on "Health Insurance Model, Health Resource Management (Health Personnel Budget, Medical Supplies, and Equipment) for Migrant Populations."
The M-FUND Office in Tak Province also set up an exhibition booth to present the project's activities.
